Account and data deletion request

LINKUP users can request deletion of their account and associated app data at any time. Use this page if you cannot access the in-app delete account option.

How to request deletion

  1. Email tanakaprince49@gmail.com from the same email address used for your LINKUP account.
  2. Use the subject LINKUP account and data deletion request.
  3. Include your LINKUP account email and, if you know it, your LINKUP user ID.
  4. We will verify ownership before deleting account data.

In-app account deletion

Open Profile → Settings & Preferences → Delete Account Permanently. You may need to sign in again to confirm ownership. The current flow deletes the authentication account and attempts to remove the main profile, presence, private-preference records, and local onboarding state.

This button does not automatically erase every historical message, uploaded photo/file, introduction, purchase, usage ledger, log, backup, or third-party copy. Email us for a broader account-and-data deletion request so remaining records can be reviewed.

Broader deletion and retained records

After verifying account ownership, we review your request to remove associated profile data, uploaded media, preferences, Linky/channel records, and other identifiable app records where applicable. Please identify any particular conversation or file you want reviewed. You may also request deletion of specific data without closing your account.

Some records may be retained for legal, security, abuse prevention, billing, dispute handling, or other lawful purposes. Copies held by message recipients, external services, or backups can have separate deletion processes. We do not promise immediate erasure of every copy.

We process verified requests without undue delay and within applicable legal deadlines. We may ask for account verification or explain any necessary retention exception. Never send a password, authentication token, or full payment-card details.

Google sign-in and subscriptions

You can remove LINKUP's access through Google Account connections. Revoking access does not itself delete LINKUP records. Deleting a LINKUP account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription or refund a purchase; manage billing with the relevant payment provider.
